Well that is one Glock that won't blow up! All the rest of you are Doooooomed :D

Never dare a glock! It could still blow.

You see the danger is not in the unsupported ramp, polymer, or any other functional part of the firearm. It is the shape itself, drawn from the fevered, nightmare filled dreams of a mad pre-Austrian Monk in 1284 A.D. That shape draws dark powers in from the universe and itself causes the explosions so often blamed on reloads. This dummy gun has the same shape, therefore, the dark powers likely will doom it as well.

A lack of ammo, chamber, barrel, magazine, or even moving parts, is no safety when it comes to Glocks and Kabooms!

So what do you use that for? I mean is it for practice purposes?

Inert gun copies are one of the handiest and most useful training tools you can get.

    You can use them to:
    • practice your draw
    • practice target-to-target transitions
    • demonstrate most gun handling techniques (like the draw, grip, etc.) to others without pointing an actual gun at anyone
    • Practice gun handling of all kinds while an instructor or some other is down range
    • practice extreme close quarters techniques
    • practice gun retention techniques
    • practice defense against a gun techniques
. . . and probably a lot of others I can't remember now or don't know about yet.

If you do a class with ACT, you'll see BlueGuns, which are inert training replicas similar to what BigCraig has, but . . . blue!

    Next to Lars
    To reference what Rhino said...

Mike was relatively comfortable with Shay using him as a potential Bad Guy to demonstrate proper gun handling techniques during this training we had in July. The gun in Shay's hand is a training replica, too, only it's gray, which unfortunately makes it look real in the photo, but I promise you, it's a solid block of gray plastic.
