Ok just took down Cold Steel's glock and (re) replaced his trigger spring back to stock from a new york setup my brother-in-law put in. Now theres a slight problem, when the gun is not cocked the firing pin rattles in and out when I shake it front to back. What am I missing or doing wrong?

I would checking the firing pin safety and spring. The friing pin should not move unless the safety in engaged by the trigger bar or your finger when field stripped. Also check to see that the extractor depressor plunger is installed with the metal tip aginst the extractor.

Is a Glockophile someone who likes Glocks or someone who molests them? (Like Pedophile.) Just wondering before I admit to being one. :D

As I understand it, before the term pedophile was given it's negative connotations "pedophile" meant simply "lover of children". So being a Glockophile by that merit would mean a "lover of glocks", either way, you're probably pretty perverse if you fall in that group :D

Double check the trigger spring and the spring retainers. Hard to say without seeing it in person.

This is why I'm glad I know a couple of Glock Armorers. With me there would be parts left over.

Ok, so thanks for the suggestions, I'll pull it apart when he gets home and see what he did to the slide, I only tinkered with the trigger assy.

Just so everyone knows, I put the New York back into it and the trigger does not sit like it does with the stock trigger. There is space, and if I pull the trigger the rest of the way, it will still rattle.

Don't know how to explain it, but, with the NY the trigger comes all the way back then when you release pressure it lets the trigger come back out. No rattle. Pull it in, rattle.

I'll check it out and update. Tanks-a-lot.
