put my gsg 1911 slide and barrel on my full size frame.

I had not heard anything about it being done so i thought id try it. Didn't work the first time but a little tweeking and it worked. I cant wait to get more mags.

Please elaborate.
What magazine did you use? The GSG or ?
What full size model?
Isn't the frame the same size?
Was this to see if you could use the "lower portion" of your full size model, kind of like a .22 conversion?

Yeah i used the gsg mag in my springfield frame. I had to take the slide apart and take out the firing pin safety but it only took me a minute. I only did it to see if i could.
