I would like to know if the internal lock on the M&P’s is a good or a bad thing? I would never use it, but does having the lock effect the trigger in any way? Is it better to get an M&P without the lock or does it make any difference…??:dunno:

As a loong time S&W wheelgun fanboy, I had to read your post a couple of times to make sure I got what you were asking.

Anytime you can go without a lock- go without a lock. That is, unless you want one to trip while you're shooting it and then you can get 15 minutes of internet fame. I don't pick up that vibe from you- so go without the lock and be glad you've got the choice. In fact, we wheelgunners often go to great lengths to rid our revolvers of them.
