An older Buddy of mine, Marine Corps Vet. (Vietnam, if that dates him?) is starting to have a "Grip" problem.
Twice in the last couple of weeks, I have handed him one of my Smith revolvers, and he DROPPED them on the floor!! Both times were on a carpeted floor. No damage..
Guess what---I NO LONGER hand this man one of my $6-800.00 guns....Bill..

Oh man that would suck, and I don't blame you!

Reminds me of a similar story from a few years ago, friend of mine handed another friend of mine a S&W 66-2 in stainless steel to look at, other friend began twirling it on his finger like a cowboy gun, dropped it, and it landed into a pile of gravel rocks!:(

My other friend who had the gun didn't mind much, no scratches left as far as we could see and he said something along the lines of how it's a Smith and built like a tank.:):

Heh, maybe it left aluminum on the finish rather than the other way round. Not really, the aluminum can scratch stuff.
