I would have to hold it in my hand to get a feel for it. I sold my Keltec P-3AT and got a LCP, and I like it way more, just a better piece of work overall.

I'm interested. With some of the specially designed short barreled loads, .38 spcl +P has some oompth to it.

I think I'l stick with my 442. Never have like the looks of Ruger D/A revolvers and this is NOT a good way to make me change my mind! I think it looks like crap, but hey, I"m a traditionalist!

Now, this is a pretty cool looking Ruger revolver!

I was very excited about this for about 15 minutes until I found out the design incorporated an internal lock. My excitement dropped sharply at that point. :-( I'll have to wait and see what it's like.

The internal lock is only accessible by removing the grips, it sits under the mainspring and locks it there, but does not interfere with any other mechanism in the firing. It, so far as I can tell, seems to be a better design than Smiths as it does not lock on it's own or bind. Also no ugly hole for the lock. See this thread at RugerForum for pics and a lock discussion in this pistol.

I like the heavy fluted cylinder looks very next level.

I can't figure out how your supposed to access the "in the grip" lock
or how the grip is mounted. Single screw on the bottom? Seems like
that would be a pain if you even wanted to use the storage lock.

Someone said that in other Ruger revolvers with the lock there was a mark on the inside of the grip that was a template to cut out a hole in the grip for those that would use the lock. Ruger apparently expects no one to actually use the lock and are just getting the guns legal in areas where it is required?

Don't know that it would work with lasergrips though!

No, I'm talking about drilling a hole to access the lock. I do not think I'd want to put a hole in those suckers to access the lock, too expensive, and with my luck there would be a wire or something right in the way lol!
