Well, thanks to all you 1911 owners on here showcasing your gorgeous guns, a couple weeks ago I told my wife I wanted to buy my first 1911. We've acquired several guns I love to death, but never made that jump into 1911's.

So after telling her I wanted one, I was greeted with the most glorious words from her: "Well, we need to get a new, bigger safe, too!" :rockwoot:

So after getting my first 1911 (a Sig C3) a couple weeks ago, I'm afraid I have a problem. I have a new safe that needs more inventory, and I'm on a mission to make it happen.

    Here's the newest addition:

Can this be cured? Or does the budget need to be adjusted accordingly? :):

No it cannot be cured! The best you can hope to do is contain it. What you have to do is tourniquet off the effected limb to cut off blood flow to keep it from spreading through out your body. Then the limb is usually amputated.

Or you could buy more 1911s, the choice is yours.

I know what I would do.

Glad that you like the 1911, and nope, there is no cure. I have 3 already, and looking at getting a 4th. Granted, I have plenty of other firearms too, but I love my 1911s, great stress relief.

Very familiar story. I liked my VBOB that I purchased a few days ago so well, I bought another just like it.

This conundrum reminds me of the hotdog/bun problem.
Hot dogs come 10 to a package, while buns come in packages of eight. You're either ahead of the game, or you're behind, but it's never a wash.

I purchashed a new safe on Black Friday and now I have the same problem. Too many open spaces. Something needs to be done about that.

    I'm working on it.

I have the 1911 itch also, but im gun rich and safe poor. I have 56 in a 12 gun safe now. I don't have the room for a bigger safe, so i'm looking into a small wall gun safe or two for the new 1911's.

I think your wife and my wife need to hang out. Maybe something will rub off. I still get the "if you want something, then you'll have to sell something" crap.:(

Totally unmanageable addiction. Welcome to my nightmare. Counseling is available but will only slow the desire................;)

Edit...if this could just be put into pill form..............Oh well, saw one at the LGS yesterday..............going back to drool.
