Opinions on a trade.....

I have a beretta 92fs and my brother in law wants to trade me his springfield xd 40 tactical for it. My 92 has about 1500 rounds thru it, 2 mags and box. His xd has 200 rounds thru it with all the gear. What do you all think?

I would probably rate the Beretta a little higher myself but if the XD is the 5" tactical model and that's what you want go for it.

IMHO, keep the Beretta.The 92 series is a tried and true, tested in combat firearm.

Let me ask it this way, are you wanting to get rid of the 92 for any reason? If your happy with it, then I wouldn't consider trading it.

Also I wouldn't let the gear pack be a considering factor, IMO the holster and magazine pouch suck.

I love my xd's and prefer 40 to 9mm, but that's my carry gun, it all depends on your purpose and what ya like better, it seems like a pretty close value in trade, the 92's can be had for somewhere in the 500-600 dollar range and being used a bit less

The BERETTA 92 parts are easy to find & plenty of aftermarket parts, shoots accurate, i would keep the BERETTA 92
