I've had this in my gunsafe for quite awhile and was wondering about the value of it.

I bought this for my wife to try and get her interested in shooting handguns. That didn't work. I've probably only put 100 shells thorugh it.

I undertand that this is a "target model" with an adjustable rear sight..

    Any ideas on the value?

    TIA..

In the last couple years I have bought or sold four or five of the S&W older 22's like yours including two 2214's, a 2213, two 422's and a 2206.

All transactions were between $225 and $275. The right buyer may pay a little more but, while lots of folks like them, these have not gone up due to collector pressure. Your original box and wood grips push it to the higher end of the range IMHO. Also if you still have the barrel wrench, that helps.

Of course, take what I say with a grain of salt because if you want to sell, I would be very interested. :)
