My father is turning over in his grave right now... For the second time I might add. The first time was when I purchased my first polymer pistol a month ago...

Wilson Combat is accepting suggestions for naming their new polymer frame 1911. Here is the submission form:

The winner will receive one of the pistols. Looks kinda neat to me, but I'm sure that 1911 purists will get heartburn. :): I could do without the squared trigger guard, but the rest doesn't look bad. I'd sure take a free one!

Nice, but my name submission is..... drumroll please ....... Expensive ;)

I called it Wilson's "CPE" (Custom Polymer Enhanced) Pistol
Name kind of goes with there CQB line in a sense.
    Just my:twocents:.

Hey, quit trying to actually WIN the contest and make up silly names instead!

    :D

(that CPE thing might just stick)

    I am speechless....:n00b:

    Me too!

Wilson had done the same basic thing with a 9mm a year or more ago. I'm sure to compete in the Glock surge.

The 1911 has style, as does Wilson Combat. They have made the Scattergun Remington 870 fighting series shotguns a long time now.

    on the weapon!
