    Help!

Looking for qualified 1911 Gunsmith in NW Indiana. Have a Colt OM that has a new mainspring housing, however, now grip safety does not work so well. The new housing needs proper fitting, I don't have the tools.

Looking for someone that is qualified.

    Thanks.

Careful. A good gunsmith is not cheap, and a cheap gunsmith is not good. If the wait is less than a few weeks, You might be dealing with a kitchen table gunsmith...

Made my mistakes in the past. Never again.

Not saying you cant get lucky, but make sure you know who your dealing with.

With that said, fitting a MSH isnt a big deal. You would probably be fine with whom ever you find. Action jobs and magwell blending is better left to the pros.
