You can get it here. Can I borrow it sometime? Just to admire it.

Hell no, it isn't mine. Lugers in that condition are pretty damn rare these days!

Haven't been able to find one like it.

    It is a nice pistol!

They are nice. It's a grail gun for most.

I bought mine from the Shotgun News back in the late 80's...for like 450 bucks IIRC. They were found a crate full in storage at SAKO in Finland; probably used there during the Winter War, serviced and put away to wait for me .

Nice, Thor. My dad bought a nice Erfurt off a guy back in the early 60s, which (the story goes) was taken off a captured German lieutenant in WWII. The old man says he paid all of 30 bucks for it! It's still in the family collection. I'd dearly like to fire it, but then the thought of having something break on it makes me feel a little queasy....

A true Luger (P08) every part is serial numbered.
I picked one up while stationed at Weisbaden AFB. in 1964.
Two parts were scratched numbers. The sear and sear plate. The second Mag.
The holster was marked for a P38.
Being getting up in age. I sold it to a fella in German reenactment group.
Did not want it to go into a melt down with my death.
