Les Baer 1911 in 9mm

I am wanting to get some information about a Les Baer 1911. Does Les produce a full size or commander size 1911 in 9mm? If so, which model/s?

Never heard of Crazy Johns. When I searched it, I found: 1911 Heaven | Les Baer Distributor, Coeur d'Alene, North Idaho.

Do you think that's the same place?

I realize the 1911 was designed for 45ACP, but was hoping for some more options in 9mm from Les.

Interesting, found a longslide on Gunbroker in 9mm with these details:
"rare, we don't see these very often, les baer premier II 6" 9mm long slide 1911, ambi safety, adjustable rear sight, 2 mags,"

That's him, the largest Baer salesman around and he is crazy. He prefers phone calls over using the net.

Gunslingers already sold that one.

I did talk to him not to long ago about getting a Baer 9mm and he did not have one in stock and if you order one the wait is about 24 months, I was lucky and traded an Ingo member for a Dan Wesson PM9 and couldn't be happier with it. There are great options out there but you would pay a hefty price tag for a quality 1911, the only other option is to order from Springfield custom shop as they produce an outstanding 1911 in 9mm.
