Just saw Walther announced a new gun on us all of a sudden. Seems like a great carry gun. 8 rounds of 9mm in a single stack PPQ. I'm guessing the awesome triggers that PPQ's have will be on this model as well

I am a HUGE PPQ fan. I carried the Shield for a while, but could not find a reason to take the reduction in capacity when I could conceal my other guns just as well. I'm sure it will sell, but I don't think it's for me.

I'm a PPQ fan and was hoping for a compact. It's not that much slimmer than the PPQ. If the slide is 1.18" wide, why make it single stack?

Just what we need, another single stack 9mm. :ugh:

It's not even slim...get a glock they're thinner...this gun is 1.18 inches in width. Why buy it?

Spasmo can't reach the trigger comfortably and properly on any Glock she's ever picked up. Personally, I want to see as many grip options out there as possible so that there's always something for everyone. Not everyone has the same size hand.

PPQ's are awesome, but I'm not so sure about this little guy...

I think the gas deloyed blowback sounds interesting. Seems like maybe a smallish 9mm that the wife might not hate.

I know this thread is old, and maybe this is the wrong place but, does the "soft-coil" recoil reducing technology actually make any sense? Doesnt every action have an equal and opposite reaction? I dont understand how slowing down the release of the gasses actually reduces recoil. It seems like it would have equal or greater recoil and wear down those components of your gun quickly. Its 2017 now how are your ccps holding up?

My wife and I both have CCPs and really like them. Hers went back early on and Walther replaced the recoil spring. It has worked fine since then. I would estimate 1000+ rounds through each of them over the last year.
