As much as I love CZs, I'm just not feeling that one. I'd love to see them create a true short rail tribute in a high polish blue with commemorative roll marks. This one seems a little more 'Franklin Mint' than CZ Custom to me. Maybe I'd like it more if it did not have the odd engravings that seem to just float about.

I think the grips are a little fruity looking for me....but I'd still buy it and put some kind of black pearl looking grips on it and love it...

    Very nice!

It's on the cover of Guns and Ammo home edition (different than the one at the store)

It looks better on the cover. This was the only pic I could find right now.

Well I tried. I've never shot a CZ pistol and know they are good guns. I figured you fan boys would like it. For a limited edition I didn't think it looked that bad. The grips did remind me of carpet at a bowling alley though.

If they skipped the engraving and rainbow parts and instead put that effort into the trigger pull, I think it would be nice. I actually like those grips on a polished blue gun. Rainbow parts? Not my taste and the engraving seems to be randomly applied. It looks like something tatoo'd on Mike Tyson. But, they should really offer a highly tuned 75B done in a high polish blue with presentation grips of some sort.

Just does not do it for me either. Way to busy. Less is more.

OMG what IS CZ [strike]thinking[/strike] SMOKING???

    FIFY

I have a 25th Anniversary CZ pistol that is absolutely beautiful.

I have a 30th Anniversary CZ pistol that, to my eye is butt ugly, but this 40th Anniversary pistol is even worse, and I didn't think that would be possible.

I'm curious to see what the 'street price' will be on the 40th Anniversary gun. Best part of this new issue is the grip. Not sure what that is but I like the grip.
