    Depends on the caliber you want. If you like .45 go with the 220, if you like 9, .40, or .357 Sig go with the 239. I had a P239 in 9mm and it was a good gun, but given that I have larger hands, the "compact" size didn't benefit me much at all. Also there are better, IMHO, options as far as carry weight vs. capacity in the 239.

    Your comparing apples to oranges just buy them both. Both are great guns both have there respective places. Only cons the 220 grip is large for some folks and the 239 is heavy for some.

    Ditto... Try to handle & shoot both first. They are different animals.

    I have carried both. The 239 was a little heavy, and I had a 220 compact that was also a little heavy. I've switched to compact glocks for carry, and it suits me. Sigs are some sweet guns though. The 220 was probably my favorite one as far as shooting went.
