So I know right off the bat, I'm going to the "why" questions...so I'll get those out of the way
and say because it's mine, and because I felt like it
I decided to stipple my G4 G22 today. Didn't really like the grip texture (even though that is what most people love about the Gen4's),
and I was bored, and had the equipment to do it.
Did more of a golf ball pattern on the sides and back, and use a smaller tip on the front strap and underside of the trigger guard (which I also slightly undercut, and rounded on the left side where it hits the middle finger's knuckle), and did a little memory pad on the left side of the frame for the offhand thumb.
Frankly, I really like how it turned out...I can't believe people actually pay money to do something like this. The whole project took me under 2 hours (including breaks), and cost less than $20 (which is what I paid for the wood burning pen that I used, but I bought that a month ago for another project)...
