Yes for a while I did use a stripper clip to reload my BUG, a Grendel P-10. The P-10 was a small pocket gun made in .380 and utilized an internal 10 round magazine. Not a bad gun over all but I decided it was just a touch unwieldy for the reload.

I have one that I purchased at a gunshop on the south side of Indy on Meridian street between Indy and Greenwood in 1988. I used to shoot it a lot, but I did not use the stripper clips. The trigger sucks and but it was reliable and cheap.

The Grendel worked fine, was light and if you need more than 10 rounds out of a BUG then you have seriously screwed up and gone somewhere you shouldn't have. But I do carry at least 2 reloads for my BUG giving me 15-21 rounds depending on the BUG. The Grendel went away. Today the BUG is normally my 640 or the KelTec PF9.
