I have a Glock gen 3 model 27.at the range over the summer and split the slide on on side where the grooves are used to rack the slide back. I only shot a magazine before I put another mag in & went to chamber a load & cut my finger. I call Glock warranty, & the said to mail it in. 5 days later I get a call from someone at Glock stating that they will not send me a new slide, as he has worked there for 20 years and never seen that problem. Any other members have an issue with their warranty dept. I pulled all internals out, & bought a lone wolf stripped replacement slide. Using winchester ammo

Glock did return the slide. The whole process took like 10 days. i even told them how many of their products I currently own. They did not seem to care. i will grab a photo later on this evening & post it to this thread. They wanted my cc card to hit me for 180 dollar new slide.

Did they send anythg back with the gun saying it was UNSAFE to shoot? If not, they are basically saying its safe to shoot. Tell them you are going to continue shooting it.
