    LOL, wow.... haters gonna hate but I will say this. The Springfield RO in 9mm is a real joy to shoot. I get the following for the original 1911 .45 but nothing wrong with slinging some 9mm from a 1911 platform. Heck, people buy those 1911 .22 pea shooters and claim platform practice and I agree. I say if you want it then go for it.

    While it is cool they brought this to market, I'm left scratching my head as to why they didn't release "all 3" at the same time....full size, commander, and the lw commander. Maybe their research showed the market would be best served with the lwc model?? :dunno:

    Most likely trying to not repeat past mistakes of not having enough product for demand. By releasing just one they can gauge demand and adjust production of future releases.

    I believe you are both correct. My opinion Glock did the same thing by releasing the 42 then 43.
