So I had this guy walk into the shop with this Walther PP chambered in .32 and other than that I don't know a lot about it. Appears to maybe be late war because of the tool marks but there are no military markings that I see. I'm not sure what the "P" suffix means and I can't seem to find a chart to date it. I tried the gunboards forum but got mixed responses. Any Walther experts?

My guess is it is a Walther mod PP in 32 ACP.
I have one that is about the same.

It would help if I would complete my thought when I make the post, I'm watching RED on tv and need to pay a little more attention to what I type. I did know that it was a PP in 7.65 (.32acp) but it would help if I would state that.

It looks like a nice pre 1945 Walther PP. The condition is not pristine. The great think is that you do not need to feel guilty if you use it as a shooter.

    congratulations
