What kind of lubricant do you guys use. I recently switched to Shooters Choice grease from the Breakfree CLP I used for years. I like it, but it is hard to find locally. Is anyone else using a grease?

i prefer grease because it doesn't evaporate. It is harder to clean, but works longer. I am open to your thoughts.

I mix Lubriplate (White Grease) and BreK Free CLP 75%/25%. I formulated this years ago for an AMT Stainless 1911 to keep it from Galling. Works Good I'm still Shooting that AMT. I like Lucas Gun Oil for the Oiled Parts.

    Whatever is in my garage.

Right now it's Aero Kroil for cleaning. Lucus 20W50 or spray white grease for lube.

Teflon oils are nice. Does not matter what you use.

I am old fashioned and still use Hoppe's gun grease. In spite of what you will read on the web; after 30 years I have had no issues, and all of my guns run just fine. I suspect guns are pretty tolerant of what lube you use so long as you use something and do so in a reasonable way.
