I have a Remington 1911 R1 enhanced and im in need of a threaded barrel for it. i purchased a suppressor through silencer shop and i believe they said not to get an Ed Brown barrel because the threads are too tight on the boosters? Anyone have any recommendations? And do i have to have the barrel and bushing fitted to my R1?

Yes. The barrel will have to be fit up to your gun.
Not sure why they do not like Ed's barrels.
I have grown to like the offerings from Clark.
