Yep, I love my Legion as well. I'm also really starting to like my plain jane P229:

I also love my Sig TacOps 1911. Can't wait to get it back from Sig. I sent it in for an AEP and can't wait to see how nice it is when I get it back:

Ummmm.... It looks like I am the OP by attrition. Is it too late to change this to an HK thread? :draw:

I saw a Legion 229 (I think...may have been a 226?) at a shop down in the Jeffersonville area on Tuesday. I'm almost certain it was stickered at $1650, I believe. Could that have been right at all?

So far I'm really liking it. It is very feature rich for what you pay in my opinion. Not a purist 1911, but neither is the 10mm so it's a perfect fit of old and new.

How do you think the chamber support is compared to the Colt Delta Elite? Have you shot any peppy rounds, any case bulging?

It's a ramped barrel and is better than the Delta. I haven't compared it yet but I don't think it's as good as a Witness. Of the ammo I shot today 1 magazine was Underwood 165gr gold dot and there was no bulging.
