Yesterday, I traded my HK45 for the Kimber Gold Combat RL II. I haven't been a Kimber fan for a while since the QC went downhill years ago. When trying to get some info on this pistol I noticed the MRSP was $2400!!!! I was like for a KIMBER? Has anyone here had any negative experiences with Kimbers the past few years? This one looks good fit & finish wise. Reminds me of the Springfield TRP Operator. I'm seriously considering on keeping it. Not very often do I fall into an expensive handgun. I definitely would never have taken a chance on a Kimber for that price. If I get some time, Ill run a few magazines through her and see how she shoots.

I had a Pro carry that I had issues with, I purchased it new and after a couple of range trips it developed hammer follow (went full auto). So it went back to kimber and after came back started to have FTF and at that point I was done with it and sold it at a huge loss, I wouldn't touch a Kimber product again.
