    I am soon to acquire an older mod 64 in 38 spl I needs cleaning as it has just been lying around for years

    I'm not an expert , what should I look for in the process?

    You also want to hit the forcing cone and the underside of the strap. Also you want to get that unburned powder on the ejector rod.

    This part is very important and often overlooked...I use old toothbrushes and Hoppe's...You may want to let the Hoppe's sink in for an hour before you start scrubbing....Welcome to INGO.....
