Sig P229 vs HK P30sk

I have a 229 right now in .357 sig, but was offered a p30sk in 9mm for it. Just looking for someone who has owned both who could help me out with deciding. Thanks!

The two guns are in no way shape or form similar at all. Personally I do not care for the P30 at all in any of its variations their triggers are garbage for the price point IMHO. That being said keep your P229 get a 9mm barrel for it and pop an SRT in it if it does not have one already and you have one of the best handguns on the planet.

I'd rock the 357 sig p229 since you already have it. The P30sk might be a tad smaller but the 229 is a a great pistol

I've never liked HK triggers or ergos, personally. Never really been tempted to own one. I do like a nice Sig, though.

Both are good guns. I think SIGs have better trigger but the HK will be ligher (if that matters). I'd keep the 229

Thanks everyone. Think i'm gonna keep the 229 and just upgrade it a little bit. It's a non railed E1, so it's a "classic" one in my opinion.

The SRT trigger is a great and inexpensive upgrade. I also love Trijicon HD sights on mine.

I carry a P229 in .357 Sig and it's a great pistol.
I would never trade it.

I like a regular p30 better than my 229. Don't like the sk shorties though. The triggers both suck when new but wear in fine for carry guns. Neither will ever match a 1911 for trigger quality.
