Kel Tec P3AT Generation Difference

I have searched and read a little bit into it, but I haven't found any conclusive evidence on the reliability between the two gens. Which one would you be more likely to trust your life to?

I would love to hear the difference as well. I had a p3at. It was flawless. Sold it. Yet at Cabelas in noblesville tonight that had two used in the rack. One was two tone with belt clip and was (if I recall) $350ish. Yet a standard (like I had) was $189.00.
Thats a large gap....

I have a gen 1- as far as reliability- they are the same. The differences are pretty much cosmetic. There was a slight change in the slide and how it is manufactured.
Magazines are interchangeable, as are accessories and parts.
Google images and you will find pictures and see.

Be sure and get the correct holster, as they are not interchangeable
