What is this Glock part?

Had a bunch of parts thrown at a new G26 gen 3 and this was in the bag of stock parts, what is it?

It goes under the rear sight, it's the compression leaf spring (or whatever they call it)

Looking at this, I don't see it.

Maybe it was some kind of packaging for some new parts?

Thank you Sir.! I looked all through the parts diagram and couldn't find it, couldn't figure out if someone was messing with me or they simply clearer the work bench and that made it in the bag.

I did have the sights swapped to night sights so that makes sense.

This. It's what keeps the factory polymer sight in place.
