    Perhaps not all the videos are share-worthy... but this one is a bit special. He's shooting and detailing a Mauser C96 bring-back. Very cool.

    I had no idea the wooden box "holster" doubled as a stock.

    World history in brooms, sold all over the planet. Certainly was the "assault pistol" of it's day, with a big magazine and quick reloading.

    Hickok45 should have at least had a 45 caliber model to shoot.;)

    Finally got a chance to watch this video, nice old gun. Actual Mauser strippers hold 10 rounds and are a little thinner than the 8 round ones he has, those are for a sub gun mag if I remember correctly. The pistol doesn't lock back on the bolt lugs and require a smack forward, the detachable magazine versions have a notch on their bolt for this but it's not found on any others. Had to laugh when he starts to shoot it with the stock due to the position of his hands, check out the pic above for the best way to shoot it without getting your thumb knuckle hammered.
