I have a bit of a fetish for Glock 19's. It was my first handgun and now I have like 4 of them. I think it is the perfect mix of size, weight, capacity, shootability and cost. I've the past year it has become my EDC. However, now I am exploring other guns of its size and capacity to add to my collection.

To that end, I have recently picked up a Sig P320c and a CZ P-07. The new FN 509 and CZ P-10c are also peaking my interest.

    I like M&P's but they have a G17 and G26 sized gun, not a G19 size.

Just wondering what other guns are out there that are of the same size and capacity (can be DA/SA or striker fired)

HK P30 or VP9 are of similar size to a G19, and hold 15+1. The P30L is similar in size to a G17. Loved the feel of the P30, but I shoot the Glock better.

+1 on the P10C. I had one in my hands at Shot Show this year and if you are a fan of the 19 then you are going to love the CZ. The P-07 is a great pistol as well. Also I'm not a huge fan of them but the Walther PPQ would be comparable. Also the Sig 2022 and P229 would be good options as well.

The P07, P10C and most of the compact CZs are a fair match for the size of the G19. One up side of the P10C is that you can still use most of your G19 holsters. The P07 will drive you to do some holster shopping, but it's still an awfully nice pistol. The thing I love about the P07 is that you can run them with +2 extensions that only add about 3/16ths of an inch to the overall grip length but give a nicely compact 17+1 carry gun.

    If you're exploring other options...
CZ P-01 or the 75 PCR (14 or 15 rds, depending on mags)
a few ounces heavier than glock (iirc), but very pointable, enjoyable, durable.
I'd bet you shoot as well, or better, than with the g19 within 100 rds.

The P-10C will fit your collection very nicely. Most Glock 19 holsters work with it, and the new P-07 mags work in the P-10C.

OP here. Thanks for all the posts and feedback. All great recommendations.

The he more I think about it in regard the M&Ps, the more it seems odd they don't have a 15rd m&p.

I am now interested in the XDM 3.8" 9mm

I definitely agree, however, I am a bit of an HK fan. And I tend to shoot them better than most handguns.

I have two on your list and I don't see the one I suggested. ;) The M9-A1 is a strange looking beast. You should watch the Nutn video though.

I'll reapeat myself here... since it didn't seem to stick the 1st time.
CZ P-01 or CZ 75 PCR (aka 75D compact) Notice that these are different than the P-10C. These are hammer fired
    - both alloy frames
    - both shoot very well
    - both 14 or 15+1 depending on mag

I held a P-01 a few days ago and had a hard time keeping the credit card in the wallet.
I don't technically need it right now, nor have I saved the money for it, but it calls to me. I hear faint echoes: "buy me... take me home.."
    :)

My two "carry 90% of the time" 9 mm's are a Glock 19 and an H&K P2000 with LEM trigger. I LOVE the LEM trigger. It seems really nice when you dry fire it, but actual usage proves just how good it is.
