    Just purchased my first SS barrel....Hoppe's 9 didn't do the trick.

    Lead away cloth is well worth the money it's the best. When you have it spotless just use the cloth and you will see how much is left behind it works great

    Thanks! The lead away cloth is freaking AMAZING! I can't believe how well it worked, and how much gunk was left behind.

    Non-Chlorinated brake cleaner. I use it on all my guns to dissolve grease, lead etc. [don't get it on wood grips or stocks.] For less than $5 a can at Wal-Mart, I've used it for many years without issue.
