Just loving this resurgence in popularity of the mighty 10mm.
Now, if only S&W would complete the circle by reintroducing their 1000 series guns so that thousands of more people can get their hands on them.
Not to mention, a new supply of magazines would be necessitated.
    I can dream, right?

    I have 2 10mm.
    1 is a custom 1 off 1911 commander with a Hybrid barrel.
the other is a 1 off custom 2011 6" hybrid barrel piece. Both are a real joy to shoot.

I had a chance to shoot CM's commander earlier this week. The comp on that gun tames the muzzle, but also lets the shooter share the shock wave a bit more. It's an absolute blast to shoot :):.

I have to say that I really like the S&W 1006 I picked up recently. Its a brick of a gun but shoots very smooth.

Been thinking about adding a 1911 10 mm and was leaning towards the Colt Delta Elite. This Ruger is sure worth a look.

If I had it to do again, I don't know if I'd go with the CDE. For not much more, you can get a DW Razorback, which is worlds different in quality. I do love my CDE, but it took a lot of money to get it to where I want it to be. This Ruger does look like it could be a fun shooter though. Has anyone posted any photos of the chamber support, or whether or not it has a ramped barrel?

Hopefully, Ruger will concentrate on quality and no go nuts with 50 models of 1911s. I would like to see Ruger build products like what used to come from Colt back before the Series 80s came around.

I'd rather have a company be honest about a mistake and recall a product, than a company throw the 2A under the bus just for the sake of profit...

Not sure how a simple comment poking fun about the number of recalls Ruger has, has to do with whatever company decisions (can only presume you mean Rock River and Springfield) have to do with a 2nd amendment or customer rights. Whole different topic.

But I get it people like Rugers and they want to forget when Ruger was trampling rights with no hi cap mag sales and suggesting that to politicians.

If we are throwing companies around might as well air it all.

    1911s suck.
    Glocks suck.
    9mm is for fairies.
.45 ACP is for guys over-compensating for a lack below the waist.
    What else?
