So I am just trying to figure out the grip width on the Legion 45acp. I do not see it listed in any of the specs. I am looking for something similar to the xdm or 1911 grip. With this being a single stack I assume it would be but..... I can find one around me to hold, anyone have the specs or a picture of a side by side? I had a sig P229 double stack and it was way to thick in the grip.

To me it seems (by feel) the 220 Legion is about the same width as an older 220 with the original grips. I carried a 1994 220 as a duty gun and when I changed agencies was issues a 228. The 228 was wider than the 220.

Yeah I am just going to have to grab a P220 non legion and see how it feels. I currently have a couple Xdm's and I like the width and grip of that so I am hoping to not have to buy another Xdm, I hate to own so many of the same thing more less.

Sig P220 Legion has a nice grip comparable to the 1911, maybe slightly thicker. One thing about the Legion is that the G10 grips are slightly slimmer than regular p220 grips. That's a great gun.
