Encouraging, just bought a new XDE two weeks ago and submitted my form right away. I was afraid it might take the whole 12 weeks.

As for all the hate for Springfield, IMO the issue lies with the voters of Illinois who have rolled over and played dead and allowed the Chicago political machine to steamroll the rest of the state for decades. I can't pretend to know SA's thought process or motives. Even if they are guilty as charged, they were trying to protect their market and their company in the corrupt state of Illinois. Fix the state, blow it up and start over.

Pretty soon the only thing you will be able to buy is a Hi-Point!! :rockwoot:

I will buy used SA and possibly Ruger.
    Never new.
Being at a point where we are building our 1911's and modifying CZ's it is really a moot point.
I agree to some of what you say but they lied through their pie holes covering Butt trying to worm put when they were caught pants down. I was one of their biggest supporters even before Ingo. Not any more.

If you like the product support it.

Same goes with Ruger and Colt too ?

No, because the ownership of both companies have changed long time ago.

SA, RRA on the other hand, Hell No!

I'm still looking for a 45 with threaded barrel.

Any manufacture, company, retail outlet, ect that supports, encourages, finances the limiting of the constitutional rights we have I will not support. That is correct. The list is getting longer but sticking to my morals and values is important to me. You never know for sure but most likely my kids are watching and I want them to be proud and learn from my example.

If you have a 1911 they make threaded barrels for them. I have fit up more than a few. Any smith worth his salt can do this for you.
