Looking at getting a DOH Bladetech holster for my P226 Legion SAO. Over at the Bob Steoger site, they list both the P226 and the P226 R.

The "R" stands for "rail", is that correct? Don't most of the American-made modern P226's come with a rail nowadays?

I understand that I might have some issues with the SAO safety, but other than that issue, do I choose the "R" holster?

I have not order from Bladethech so can't help you there, I did order from JM customs and and it's a fantastic holster. I wanted a good holster for my 226 Legion sao and they are hard to find but when I contacted JM they were helpful and order mine to be used with a TLR1 and the holster turn out awesome.

Thanks, I actually have a nice everyday holster for my Sig P226 Legion SAO, but I am looking at the Bladetech DOH holster more for competition, so I need the drop and offset features (DOH).

Thanks for the link however, because you are so right, it is really hard to find one to fit the SAO.
