Just picked up my new snubbie. S&W 627 Moon Clip 357 mag. This thing is a great shooter, easy to handle and dead on accurtate. Shot 100 rounds yesterday, alot more comfy to shoot than a J Frame, of course it a whole lot bigger.

Beautiful piece, and what a great weekend to sling some wheel gun lead!

Be careful with lead-away cloth, it will rub the bead-blast finish off. I've had decent luck with Flitz Bore Cleaner and a stiff nylon brush, but even that over time will polish the bead blast finish.

I had my 2.75" S&W 66 out this weekend as well, finally got around to trying some 158gr .357 through it, and like you, was not disappointed. Great to see some revolver love posts!

Quick test with a different image hosting service, since Photobucket changed their policy. This is what I was ringing some steel with over the weekend:

Now that is my idea of WOW!!!
Thanks, it's a surprisingly mild shooter even with 357. But I bet that 627PC BJones has really soaks up the recoil... it's a chunky little beast, it must be a flame-throwing hoot with 357! Jones - we can't be that far apart. We should get some pics of you working out some warm 357 loads at dusk. Should be even better than my profile pic, which is a 3" 686+ with 357 in the cylinder.
