    In France many local agencies use revolvers due to some law that dictates what calibers they can use.

    Mostly 38 special revolvers.
    They are very common.

    Some special units still use them for CQB stuff.

    Some are issued two sidearms, a semi-auto and a revolver.Sometimes both are carried but you see more on more just officers carrying two Glocks as sidearms.

    Yes, As I understand it and unless something has changed recently. if your job does not require wearing a uniform and you qualify with the revolver you can carry it. I personally know one that carries a revolver at times.

    I think some departments still carry revolvers, at least as of a couple years ago.

    We've got one detective in the office that still carries one as a primary. I stay qualified and could carry one, but haven't carried one as primary for awhile. I do carry my LCR quite a bit as a back up, though.

    Hey I have a left handed iwb revolver holster... maybe it will work with your LCR...

    Good friend of mine is a Michigan State trooper, he has a s&w airweight as his BUG. Not 100% positive, but I’m pretty sure it’s MSP issued as well.
