I purchased an Advantage Arms .22 conversion kit from Beech Grove Firearms yesterday. It makes my G-30 into a .22lr. The staff there is GREAT.
Next stop was Rural King for 1k rounds of Remington "golden bullets"(recommended by AA). Next stop my range.
A few ftf, fte, and a couple stove pipes...But right on schedule (around that 100 rd mark) that thing smoothed out and ran flawlessly!
A real joy to shoot. It's gonna be perfect for me to learn to shoot with my non-dominate eye.
    100% positive experience!

I love my AA kit. I have one for Gen 3 19. I used to also have one for my Gen 3 26, but sold it off some time ago.

I have only used the Golden Bullets and they work well for this. Definitely stick to the recommended ammo's from AA.

I even completed the first half of a class with mine, switching over to centerfire for the second half of the class.
