For whatever reason Glock 42's always seem to get a bad wrap. I personally think its often a shooter issue limp wrist-ing the gun I have seen it tons of times at the range when friends are shooting mine. For me, never an issue! Ive owned this little thing since they first came out and figured it was time to have fun with it...

The slide was sent out to TJ Paroz who owns Boogyman Customs in Az. The frame, that was an at home project for me as I have always wanted to attempt to cut up a Glock frame.

    IMO, came out really fantastic!

I call this the Dubai Recon

    Slide Milling: Boogyman Custom
    Sights: Ameriglow UC Sights
    Frame: Stipple and Cerakote me
    Trigger: SSVI
    Mag Release: Hyve
    Slide takedown pin: Hyve
    Slide Stop: Tango Down Vickers
    Base pads: Taran Tactical.

This is a nice little summer carry that holds 9 in the tube and 1 in the pipe... cant beat that for a pistol this size!

    I got to admit, for a glock...and a 42....that's pretty bad a$$

Yeah, came out just as I was planning it to... I am a 1911 and HK guy at heart, but Glocks are fun too (sometimes). I personally really do like this little thing... fun little toy, just enough to get me back to the, well you know:)

Your frame work and stipple job is very good. I really like the polished undercut. Best looking 42 I've seen.
Have not seen Hyve parts before I'll check them out, that mag release is nice. Well done piece.

Thanks brother! Not something I plan on ever doing again:) As for Hyve, they make some great stuff! 100% like the stuff they offer, and its priced right!
