WOW! Never seen that before. Not quite sure how that can even happen with or with out the manual.

He might be better off calling glock and asking them what he should do.

From what it looks like you could try and sliding it back off or even try taking the slide off backwards. You might have to try wiggling it sideways slightly/gently. I'd try that first, other than that I don't know. I can look at my model 40 mos for you to see if I can get any more ideas on how to fix it.

    Oh that's an easy fix....

    Buy a 1911.

That is very impressive. I've never seen a Glock Pop a Wheelie.

Will it budge at all? Full308 has a decent idea of trying to get the slide off from the back side. If not, maybe some gentle persuading taps from the back side with a rubber mallet will help nudge it forward enough to break it loose?

Can you imagine him trying to put a 1911 together if this was the result of a glock? lol

I vote for tapping on it with a rubber mallet. I want to know how hard he "racked it" to assemble it that way tho...

This is actually quite common. NHT3 can most likely tell you how to do it properly.
Elmores is familiar with this problem as well. Let Jason fix it. It won't take him but a couple of minutes.

That's something. I would put some oil on the contact points and try to take the slide forward. Disassemble and evaluate damage if any.
