Are CZ and similar guns slides fit?

Thinking specifically of a Tanfo but really a general question.
With off the shelf factory guns if you want to replace a slide is it just get the right part number and call it good to go?

I'm not sure about the average CZ but the P01s are supposed to be completely parts interchangeable. I've done a bit of slide swapping between others and it's worked but I don't know if that's by design or if I'm just lucky.

Tanfos are relatively interchangeable. Lots of guys do caliber swaps with just slides and magazines.

There are probaly limitations of what can be swapped, but until recently all Tanfos that were imported were the “large frame” models so the limits may be more related to slide length. I don’t recall my 4.25” Limited Pro working with the 6” hunter frame or vice versa. I’d have to try it agin to recall where the issue was.
