Home build AR9 pistol. Kaw Valley (Faxon) barrel, KAK mag block, bottom load, Colt pattern ASC magazines. Will jam last round into top of chamber, and fail to feed, only on hollow points. All 29 other hollow points feed flawlessly, and if last round is FMJ it feeds fine. Logically process of elimination would be to try other magazines, but considering cost I wanted to ask advice before throwing money around, on a guess-and-check.

Failure to feed the last round or two in a magazine fed weapon is almost always caused by a weak magazine spring not getting the round up in time (if all of the other rounds feed reliably). Sometimes the last round misfeeds because it has a follower under it rather than another round. Sometimes the problem is a magazine spring that is installed backwards.

Agree on trying a new mag. Palmetto state mags have been reliable for me and are only $20 or so. Other option is slightly adjusting your mag block. I have the spikes bottom feed block and if not adjusted just right upon installation, reliability suffers.

Delayed response, I do have another mag, it's the same 32 rnd ASC though. So didn't really think it would make a difference. I've not shot it again yet, but I'll try the other mag when I do.

Tried C-products, and Promag tonight. Similar results. Anything I can do to the firearm? Aside from trying a different barrel? Mag block is in there pretty tight, not sure how I would try to "adjust" it
