Talk me out of a Steyr GB

I wanted one of these since I learned about them in the mid 80s. Decided to cocentrate on Ruger P-series instead, but this was always in the back of my mind (along with a VP70Z). Is there actually increased accuracy and power, and is it worth the parts/mags expense to have one?

I would already have one if I wasn't committed to reducing calibers and firearm types to minimize drill confusion. But this has the same DA/SA and hammer drop setup as the Ruger DC pistols, just not ambi.

I sold one here (finally) that had been on consignment for four years...The guy who saw it about leapt out of his skin when he saw it and bought it...They are a big old gun and built like a tank...

Just buy a 1911. You'll forget about European firearms then. Simple.
