They are offering several different models. Maybe most interesting is the "crossbolt safety" model.

Look close and you'll see the safety right behind the trigger. I'd expect it to be on top of and at the rear of the slide!

MSRP looks to be $425. Magazines are clear.

It features a flat faced trigger. The striker assembly has to be taken out before the gun can be taken down.

    MC1sc Safe Takedown System™
The MC1sc is equipped with our exclusive Safe Takedown System. It requires the user to make the handgun completely safe by removing the striker assembly before removing the slide. The user is not required to pull the trigger in order to disassemble the handgun for cleaning and maintenance.

I have to wonder what they think they have that puts the price tag that high vs an LC9S? I'll be interested in the reviews.

So the Mossberg name, weird safety, and clear mags? That's it? They had better sell it for half that current MSRP or it will flop. Unless there's a group of mossberg fanbois (Fuddbois) just waiting for a small plastic pistol lol...

6 and 7 rounds of 9mm depending on which mag used? That's it? Seriously?

Those guys are about 10 years too late to the market with their Micro-9.

The magazine thing is a very big deal to me. Already having mags on top of affordable/compatible alternatives to factory mags is huge.

Makes it easier to say yes to take one of these hopefully very affordable little guns out to test the daylights out of it at a steel match or ten.

I'd buy one today I'd I could find a deal on a used one.
I already have rifles and shotguns made by Mossberg and I do like them all.

I'd like to add a pistol marked Mossberg to the safe, but not for $400.
I'll wait until a deal pops up.

At first glance, I thought a Shield & a LC got together and had a child. Now I think it might have been an orgy with Glock, SIG & a PPS M2 participating.
Need to handle before further judgement is rendered.

I think it's neat. Capacity is too low, but then again, so is everything else this size since I got my P365.

If they prove to be reliable and I ever need a 2nd 9mm pocket pistol, I'd put this on the short list to check out. Sig night sight and Glock mag compatibility is pretty cool.

Idk. I think its interesting. Idk about $400 but maybe $325 new. I'm thinking competition with Taurus offering would turn out good for mossberg. Idk about competing with the shield.

Some manufacturers should just stick to making shotguns and leave the pistol making to others. Mossberg falls in that category
