I know that G43x and G48 are the hot topics but anyone hear of any other Glock releases? I would love a gen 5 G19 that has all the same features of the new MOS without the MOS plate. Would never add one and would like the slide to just be solid without the screws.

That seems like maybe the next release from Glock, an update to their gen 5 to remove the grip cutout and add in front serrations

Just curious what else is different between the MOS model and the standard G19 Gen 5?

The gen 5 mos has the front serrations as well as the solid grip, no half moon cutout like the regular gen5. It’s basically like the g45 in a g19 package.

I'm wondering if the Glock 47 is the 17 slide 19 grip a lot of folks think is the shizzle? If you look at the number system 47 is the one that's vacant unless I miss counted anything.

Unless it's their long awaited carbine LOL

They need to put out a Gen 5 21X. That would be a nice shooter. 13+1 rounds of .45 in a comfortable package to carry all day. They just need to drop the G30 slide on the G21 frame.

Will they do that? Magic 8 Ball says: Don't count on it.

Nothing in the pipe for anything over 9mm. They got the trials gun down to 23 parts and it's now a 2 pin. I don't see any higher caliber until another redesign, or bringing back the old design. They'll milk the r&d on the gen 5 for a while in every old and new 9mm offering. It's the gen 5 9mm show.

I seen the new ones at the gun shop and why did they get rid of the finger imprints on the handle? Like holding a small block?

Because the grooves didn't fit 70% of the people. My 19 doesn't fit as well. My 17 and a 35 I had we're fine for me but I personally like the Gen 5 over the finger groove. I also have loved my M&P because of no finger grooves. Glock just offers both now

I'm one of the 70%. I take the finger groves off.

I’m going to try the gen 4&5 again this week when I go to Lexington. The last time I went I’m pretty sure I liked the fit/feel of the gen4 better. Maybe I’m part of the 30. Though I’m usually a 2 percenter..

I’m still trying to decide if I could use a 19 as the “one gun” to do it all.
