Why? Just, why? I feel the same way about the Roni and any other thing that wraps around or sticks onto a pistol and gives it no more capability than it already has. I just don't see the point of adding something like this rather than having something like a braced AR/AK or at least a pistol caliber carbine (though I'm still trying to understand the niche they fill) that at least adds some velocity.

I don't see the point in the Roni, which adds way too much bulk. But this is lightweight and holsterable. It would add some stability with a cheek weld, might extend your accurate pistol range a bit with a good red dot sight. If I was just blowing money on toys, I might get one and slap it on a G34 for fun.

Maybe my view is skewed by the fact that I don't have "toy money", anything I buy has to have a purpose. I just really don't see what this is designed to replace.

I don't think that it's intended to replace anything. Just another accessory.

Toys definitely have a purpose, just depends on what kind of toys you like. :)

Honest Outlaw (on YouTube) did a review of this recently. He took it out, shot it a bunch, and gave his opinion.

The main issue is that the length of pull is insanely short because the length of the stock is limited by the length of the pistol (length of stock can't be longer than the Glock on it's own or it would add length to the whole unit when it's collapsed). - Hopefully that makes sense.

And when your eyeball is that close to the rear sight of a pistol, the rear sight notch appears VERY wide, and the front sight still small... so from a sights perspective I don't think it helps much with precision.

If I remember Honest Outlaw's review, his accuracy at 100yds was the same with the normal Glock pistol as it was with the brace installed.

To make a long story short, I think it's stupid. :twocents:

I’m just glad to see innovation. Maybe not for this item specifically, but similar concept items that can add combat effectiveness can have some role in Law Enforcement - for example, dignitary protection, narcotics, investigations, etc., where a smaller profile is needed. Yes, there are plenty of solutions on the market, but I’m all for manufacturers trying to do better. That’s how breakthroughs happen.

I love it. We need to get behind products like these not complain about them.
The comments about this on arfcom show how many wimps there are in the gun "community" who if the time ever comes will roll over on their backs like a puppy.
Same idea with bunpstocks. I dont personaly have a bump stock (I'm serious and I said that before they were ever "banned") but I support those who do and if you do I dont think you should turn it in or destroy it.
The people who are against bumpstocks and what they represent for freedom are a bunch of FUDDS and fakePatriots. People need to get their heads out of their butts and unite or die.

I'm with Trigger Time. This new brace might not be for most people, but it's definitely a measure of innovation. Actually, I think I'll have to buy one just for the novelty factor.
Thanks for starting this thread, Ruffnek...... even if it's not for you. :yesway:

Thanks. I hope it does fire people up. Something needs to light a match under some peoples asses to care. Cant even get people to call and write their elected officials but they will be the first ones to ***** on the internet about their rights. Also usualy the first ones beating down the doors at the gun store for the next panic because theyre unprepared. Im not saying these are bad people im just saying they need to get some priorities straight. We all need to be fired up. With the democrats bold unapologetic push towards socialism and gun bans we are seriously always one election away from being stripped of our rights and becoming slaves. We must start taking a stand friends. Stand up for innovations like this which help us push further into the courts to restore our stripped rights. Remember the more comonplace we make guns and devices like this the more the court recognizes them as in common use.

This is one of those...let's make this video look really cool to try to sell this plastic that is 100% impractical and adds another point of failure. I am waiting to see the first guy who shoulders this thing and busts out a nice big hole in his front grille.

You should look at the video a little closer. There will be no grille busting.

theres a video i watched of a guy who didnt have the brace fully locked. It didnt hit him in the face. You still have control of the pistol grip with your hand and your face doesn't come forward of the point the slide recoils to.
My point being, if you hit yourself in the mouth with this you are "special"

Definitely just another assessory...nothing to get wound up about!
The only thing I tend to add to factory pistols is tritium night sights...
