I did the 19 first, quite gritty at first but loosened up nicely, sweet shooter now. Midnight Bronze Cerakote by Warrior Arms in Valpo.

The 17 is Duracote stainless I think, with flag stencil , done by Voldemort Arms (me), another sweet shooter..

Very nice looking, they are addictive and much fun putting together. My first was easier then expected and a very nice shooter, my second is near completion!psyko

Like anything else, take your time with Duracoat and prep well. It goes on THICK so easy does it. You can get stencils online too.

Super sweet, how did you do the stipple?

Used a wood burning kit witha tip like a flat head. Chose up down left and right for the majority then connected those lines with diagonal then filled in the blanks. This pattern is great and simple because you cant really make a mistake since its all random. I also sanded a little before so that no area was noticably different with the factory pattern.

Question. How do i know when someone has responded to my thread? New here still figuring it out. Thanks
