Was looking at 1911s, but have come to realize that I will need to spend more than I am willing to get one that I would like.
Was at the range yesterday and per the suggestions from you guys I rented a couple of full frame 9s, and I like the size and feel.
Didn't like the polymer feel or weight so still not a Glock lover.
The one that I really liked was the CZ Shadow2, but again more than I want to spend.
They didn't have one at the range, but I saw this a couple of days ago and it looks and feels very nice.

I have a few of these....not in the condition of the one you linked though!

They are great pistols as long as your hand is large enough to grip it... that is about the only complaint I ever hear from folks that shoot mine.

Mine run great.... I am sure this one would as well!

Oh yeah.... they are DA/SA. Some folks don't like the longer/heavier pull on the first shot.

I never had a problem with it.... just something to be aware of.

Didn't review the previous thread. What role/purpose will the gun fill for you? EDC, range toy, night stand gun, all of the above?

Also, what other types of handguns do you already have, etc. (To understand where this fits with your current collection).

That will help a bit in answering questions.

Carried one for many years good pistols very reliable, soft shooting the only malfunctions I have experienced were magazine related and rare. On the downside kinda hard to conceal carry.

I carried a FS for many years. Will shoot just about any 9mm round out their.
It's one downside is it's large size; not easily concealed

If you liked the size and grip angle of the CZ, but not the price, then you need to look at the Tanfoglio line (CZ clones) imported by EAA (European American Arms) and branded with the name "Witness".
The EEA Witness is all but identical to the CZ, at least ergonomically.
    Great reviews too.
    I like mine.

I fell in love with the SP01 when I first held it--happened again even worse when I first shot it. If you like a solid feel and full sized gun, it's awfully hard to go wrong with that model CZ.

Fair warning: CZ's seem to become an addiction if you're not careful. Just sayin.

Same here. I carried mine in a Don Hume inside the pant holster in the center of my back. Concealed under a T-shirt no problem.

    .
Big pistol, other than that it's an outstanding 9mm. After Browning sights became too small for my old eyes to see I started carrying one in the woods. After learning about electric sights from KJQ, I swapped it for a Glock40 MOS.
