Went to the range today to test my P07 after a quick change to the safety for the decocker. I’m thinking about carrying it cocked and locked vs hammer down using the decocker. Love this gun when SA. I shot it next to my STI Spartan. Both in 9mm.

The CZ is in line to replace my G19. I just shoot the CZ better.

The P07 ran flawlessly with a mix of 115 and 124 grain FMJ as well as one mag of Federal 124 gr HST’s. All told 150+ rounds from 5 to 15 yards. I shot the 07 from a low ready with safety on both right and left handed. Did a series of mag changes and back on target. Sorry no pictures. I didn’t think of posting until I got back to the shop.

Anyone else carry a P07 cocked and locked? I do carry the Spartan in condition 1 but it’s heavy at 36 oz with no mag.

I carry a P07 but still carry with the decocker setup. Mine is a .40 and in shooting it back to back with my G23, I do find that I’m more accurate with the P07 than the Glock. I’ve always loved the Glock and still do, but the .40 P07 shoots just like a 9mm in feel.

Sorry, not much help with the cocked and locked question, but wanted to share the P07 love. :)

I am in the cocked and locked train of thought as well. Although 95% of the time I have carried a 1911, but I am considering carrying the cz more and more now. I feel that if you really needed to use it there may not be enough time to rock the slide and if tgat means it’s too late then I’d rather be ready for what’s needed. Love the p07 and all czs for that matter!

Sorry, my P-07 is carried Decocker. I value the ability to easily and safely decock, and prefer no manual safety.

I have to agree. I feel much more comfortable with my P-07 configured with the decocker. I would want it any other way especially since the DA is not inconvenient to me for the first squeeze of the trigger.
